Stack Genius Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Stack Genius helps users track supplements, learn about supplement ingredients, and add products to their stack manually or by scanning a barcode.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address, when you sign in.
- Supplement tracking information you choose to add, such as supplement names, dose details, schedule or reminder preferences, and intake history.
- App usage and diagnostic information, such as feature usage, crash reports, device type, and performance events.
- Barcode scan results when you use the camera scanner. Barcode values are used to look up catalog supplement information and are not used to identify you.
Camera access
Stack Genius requests camera access only so you can scan supplement barcodes. Camera images and video are processed on your device for barcode detection. We do not store photos or videos from the camera scanner.
How we use information
- Provide supplement tracking and history features.
- Help you add supplements faster through barcode lookup and catalog search.
- Improve app reliability, onboarding, and beta feedback workflows.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug errors.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your private supplement stack in public share links.
- We do not include supplement names, notes, goal text, barcode values, or health-sensitive fields in analytics event payloads.
- We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or cure claims.
Data sharing
We may use service providers to operate the app, including authentication, database hosting, analytics/diagnostics, and barcode/product lookup services. These providers process information only as needed to support the app.
Public supplement share links, if enabled, should use catalog-level supplement information only and must not include your private stack, intake logs, goals, identity, or notes.
Health and supplement information
Stack Genius is for education and personal tracking. Supplement information may include citations or general structure/function education, but it is not medical advice. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional before changing supplements, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account and supplement tracking information while your account is active or as needed to operate the app. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us. During beta, data deletion and export processes may be manual.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authentication, database access controls, and encrypted transport. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Stack Genius to limit unnecessary collection and avoid exposing private supplement data.
Children
Stack Genius is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Stack Genius evolves. We will update the date above when material changes are made.
